Candice C. McDowell, 37 of Omaha, Nebraska died Thursday, November 25, 2021.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Heartland Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Candice was born on January 12, 1984 in Sioux City, the daughter of Manuel Calamanco and Carla White. She attended West High School. She previously worked at Rebos and Crave in Sioux City, was currently the restaurant manager at the Timber Creek in Omaha.

Candice was a people person, she loved her family and enjoyed going on trips to Colorado. She was always taking pictures and one of her favorite dishes was just bowls of mac n cheese.

Candice is survived by her sons’ father, Luke McDowell; sons, Jaxon McDowell and Caison McDowell; daughters Caira Mann and Jade (Hunter) Schonrock; father, Manuel Calamanco and his wife Beatriz; brother, Antonio (Amber) Calamanco; sisters, Angela (Jacob) Perez, Silvia (Brandon) Dobernecker, Mercedes Calamanco, Veronica Calamanco, and Aubrie Calamanco; aunt, Candy Kaas; cousin, Ashley (Brandon) Hicks; her boyfriend, Alan Baker; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and one great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carla White; grandmother, Ruth White; and a brother, Mani Calamanco.
