Bruce David Anders, 74, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at a local hospital. Memorial Services will be held from 4:00pm-6:00pm Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue, Sioux City, Iowa.

Bruce was born on Friday, February 28, 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa. Bruce was adopted by his parents Albert and Edythe (Chapman) Anders and was raised in Sioux City. He graduated from Leeds High School in 1965. Bruce married Kathy Olson in 1975 and had one son, Jeffrey, born on October 17, 1978. He married Linda “Lynn” Jenkins in 1988. He helped to raise his stepson, Cory Jenkins.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Linda “Lynn”; his son Jeff (Amber) Anders, of Vermilion, SD; step-son Cory Jenkins; grand-daughters Alexis and Addison Anders; a sister, Julie (Ronald) Schmidt; a brother, Brian (Valerie) Anders; a nephew, Matthew Schmidt; nieces Rebecca Schmidt and Elizabeth Richter.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers donations and memorials may be made to Waterbury Funeral Service in care of Lynn Anders or Jeff Anders.
