Obituary
Brittany N. Logsdon, 19 of Las Vegas, Nevada formally of Sioux City, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at her residence in Las Vegas.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave., with Pastor Randy Nelson and Chaplain Lorna Peters officiating. Visitation will be held 4-8pm Monday, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Brittany was born February 22, 1996 the daughter of Paul Logsdon and Sharon Klug. Brittany attended Longfellow Grade School, East Middle, and East High School graduating in 2014. She moved to Las Vegas in June of 2015.
She worked at Levi’s Straus Industries, on the Technical Services unit, where she had just received a promotion to a Mechanics with a huge pay increase. She also worked at McDonalds as an Assistant Manager prior to moving to Las Vegas.
Brittany enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, skateboarding, and dance as a child.
She excelled in the position Forward in Soccer and could out run and maneuver every player on the team. She enjoyed weight lifting, swimming,bowling, wrestling, motor cross and working on her truck. She was the first female wrestler at East High School, which she earned a letter. She cared for the safety of other as a lifeguard. In the hands on mechanic courses, she was faster than most boys in the class rooms. She loved animals and had a dog named Scruffy. She was an avid motorcyclist. She was a real people person. Brittany was a member of John Duvall MMA Fighting Academy in Sioux City.
Brittany is survived by her father Paul Logsdon, mother and step-father Sharon (Derrick) Klug, two sisters Michelle and Madison Logsdon, her girlfriend, Kaitlyn Parker, Grandparents Richard (Nancy Robson) Dewey, step-grandpa Randy Nelson, step-grandma Susan Klug, Uncle Randy Logsdon, Uncle Joe (Beverly Peters) Logsdon, Uncle Conrad (Jolynn) Logsdon, Uncle Gene (Deborah Carson) Logsdon, Uncle Jeffery (Susan Peters) Logsdon, Aunt Dianna Dewey, and 12 cousins.
She is preceded in death by her Grandfather Conrad Leo Logsdon, and her grandmother Norma (Riefenrath) Logsdon.
