Brian E. Lundgren, 60 of Vail, Arizona passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 18 in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. Per Brian’s wishes he will be cremated and will be buried in Brule Creek Cemetery in Spink, South Dakota at a later date.

Brian was born December 19, 1961 in Sioux City, Iowa, the youngest of seven children to Donald and Dorothy (Corkery) Lundgren.

He attended school in Jefferson, South Dakota. Brian obtained his labor skills as a carpenter, construction worker, on bridges and towers, and in later years a handyman.  Brian enjoyed the last 8 years with family in Arizona and had a special bond with his great nephew Lucas Hoffman.

Brian is survived by three older brothers, Wayne, Mark, Tom sister Susan, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Brian is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Rita, Mary and a nephew, Curt Hoffman.
