Brian L. Crippen, 58, of Sioux City, Iowa died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at his home.

Brian was born March 30, 1959 in South Sioux City, Nebraska the son of Elvin and Bernece Crippen. He attended school at South Sioux and at Ft. Smith, Arkansas where he lived for a short time before returning to Sioux City. Brian married Cindy McDole. Together they made their home in Sioux City.
Over the years, Brian worked at Guardian Building Supplies and Younkers Warehouse before retiring due to his health.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy of Sioux City; daughters, Amber Christensen of Sioux City and Myriah Pyron of California; 5 grandchildren, Brittannie, Kendrick, Brooke, Dayton and Nevaeh; a great-grandson, Cylus; 2 brothers, Doug and Gene Crippen, and 2 sisters, Debra Mace Moreno and Kim Mace, all of Sioux City.
