Brenda Sue Taylor, 56, of Sioux City, IA, passed away unexpectedly November 9, 2023.  A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Abundant Life Church, 809 S. Alice, Sioux City, IA 51106.  Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City is handling the arrangements.

Brenda was born on December 26, 1966, in Sioux City, IA to Alfred and Ella (Heibel) Taylor.  Brenda loved watching hockey and was a big fan of the Sioux City Musketeers.  She also enjoyed watching the Viterbo University volleyball team.  Family was important to her, and she would always babysit for family members or friends in need.  She volunteered for Toys for Tots and belonged to a bowling and dart league.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Travis Taylor; siblings: Bonnie (Rick) Knutson, Ron (Tammy) Thompson, Sharon Ibarra, Bob Thompson, Randy Thompson, and Alfred (Stephanie) Taylor.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Roger Thompson.
