Brenda A. Leander, 61, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by her family on September 9, 2024.  A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, September 12 at 6:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, visitation will be 4-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family will be going to Bob Roes following the service.

Brenda was born on May 26, 1963, to Austin and Viana (Mason) Kotz.  She graduated from High School and was united in marriage to Thomas Leander in 1985.  Brenda was an extremely hard worker and worked at K-Mart, Casa Del Ray and at Bob Roes for many years.  She loved singing, camping, cooking for everyone in the neighborhood, the redskins, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Tom Leander; children: Matthew, Marcus (Marrisa), and Thomas Leander, and Ronna Cason; grandchildren: Noah, Avery, Ethan, Landon, Austin, and Daxton; siblings: Austin Kotz, Travis Kotz, Jason Kotz, and Shirley Miller.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Johnnie Kotz.
