Bradley "Butch" Steven Coan, 57, of Waterbury, NE, passed away surrounded by his family on February 19, 2024.  A Celebration of Life is pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service.

Brad was born on October 22, 1966, in Sioux City, IA to Bernard and Wanda (Huggenberger) Coan.  He grew up in South Sioux City, NE and graduated from South Sioux City High School.  Brad worked as a chef for Marina Inn for over 20 years.  He was united in marriage to his lifelong partner of 37 years, Rhonda Hudgins, on January 28, 2024.  He enjoyed fishing, playing darts and dice, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Rhonda Hudgins-Coan; children: Bradley (Jacy) Coan and Cody and Cayla Coan; adopted son; Spenser Nyberg, grandchildren: Scarlett and Michael; siblings: Lori Logan, Cynthia Pojar, Teresa (Jack) Bossow, Renee (Phillip) Carda, and Brian (Mae) Coan; and several nieces and nephews; and his service dog, Sam.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brother-n-laws.
