Bradley William Brunssen, 59, of South Sioux City, NE, passed away December 19, 2023, at a local hospital.  A celebration of Life will be held at the Elk Point Legion Hall, 103 E. Main St, Elk Point, SD on January 20th from 1p.m. to 4p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Brad was born on April 19, 1964, in Sioux City, IA to Dewayne and Karen (Clift) Brunssen.  He worked as a truck driver for several years.  Brad loved car racing and being a part of the pit crew with his brothers.  He enjoyed his Steelers Football, watching hummingbirds, lighting fireworks on the 4th of July, animals, music, boating, camping and fishing.

Those left to honor his memory include his children: Sara Wilcox (Bradley) and Nick Thompson (Cruz) and six grandchildren; Nathan, Emilee, Colten, Finnley, Eleanor and Sawyer, siblings; Craig Clift (Alieca), Cindy Clift, Doug Brunssen (Cally) and Jeff Brunssen (Sonya), several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
