Billy “Bill” N. Horton, 52, of Sioux City, IA, passed away February 15, 2025, at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Bill was born on July 29, 1972, in Vermillion, SD to Steven and Patricia “Trish” (Rake) Horton.  He moved to Sioux City, IA and attended West High School.  He met the love of his life; Lisa Frisch and they had been together since 2000.  They were united in marriage on January 6, 2017.  Bill was a farmer and a welder, most recently working at Hilton Garden Inn.  He enjoyed boating on the river and bow fishing.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Lisa Horton; sons: Matthew and Steven Horton; stepchildren: Matthew, Derek, Alissa, and JT Turner; grandchildren: Oliver, Max, Malcom, Briza, Beatriz, Mimi, and Trill; his parents: Steven and Trish Horton; brother, Michael Hobart; and his dogs, T’Pol and Archer.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Virginia Horton.  Bill was especially close to his grandpa Wayne; he was his hero.
