Beverly Ann Lilly

Beverly Ann Lilly, 98, of Sioux City, IA, passed away December 22, 2025.  A graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery is pending for a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Beverly was born on February 21, 1927 in Sioux City, IA to Walter E. Schuette and Elise (Hatton) Schuette. She graduated from Union Consolidated School in rural LeMars. She married Kenneth E. Renken February 5, 1948. Five children were born to this union. They divorced in 1966. On July 29, 1973, she was united in marriage to Howard S. Lilly.

She was an active member of Riverside Lutheran Church and served as their President as well as serving on the Lay Ministry Board and Property Board. She was a member of the Tabitha Circle at her church. She loved gardening, canning, quilting, and attending East High School choir concerts.

Those left to honor her memory include her five children: Larry and Kathy Renken of Prescott Valley, AZ; Lisa and Chuck Gonzales of Surprise, AZ; Jeffrey and JoAnn Renken of Rancho Mirage, CA; James and Stacey Renken of Clear Springs, Maryland; and Jon and Lisa Renken of Leesburg, Virginia.

Beverly was the oldest of eight children. She has nine grand-children and eleven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
