Becky J. Lasley

Becky J. (Frye) Lasley, 74 of North Sioux City, SD lost her battle with a brief illness Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at a local hospital, surrounded by her family. Memorial service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date in McCook Lake Cemetery

Becky was born February 15, 1952 in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. On August 25, 1975 she married the love of her life Rick Lasley, and in this they were blessed with their family that includes; Tina Frye of Sioux City, IA, Jay Frye of North Sioux City, SD, Janel (Jeremy) Erickson of North Sioux City, SD, Bobbi Carpenter of Sioux City, IA, Jesse Henley of North Sioux City, SD, and Clayton Henley.

Becky and Rick took in their grandchildren; Koleton and Breanna (Wickey) Frye with great honor and open arms. She enjoyed running errands with her daughter and spending time with her grandchildren. She worked at a couple of different convenience stores over the years, but retired from Casey’s General Store shortly after the loss of her husband, Rick.

If you know Becky she was one of a kind with her sassy self. She loved her family fiercely and was not afraid to speak her mind good, bad, or otherwise. She never missed the chance to brag about her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Becky is survived by her children, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Rick, grandson, Koleton Frye, son-in-law, Bill Carpenter and brother, Terry Frye.
