Ashelyn Rose McDonald, infant daughter of Jason and Tiffney McDonald of Fargo, N.D., formerly of Sioux City, was born at 6:43 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. She was 3 lbs. 7 oz. and was 15 1/2 inches long.

Memorial services will be 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ashelyn's life. A private family prayer service will be held later.

Ashelyn's family was blessed with just over an hour with her before she went to her heavenly home at 7:48 p.m. Ashelyn experienced holding hands with her mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from her family and being told "I love you" an uncountable amount of times.

Ashelyn is deeply loved by her mommy and daddy, big brothers, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and many others. She will always remain her parents' precious baby and Kylan and Declyn's little baby sister and they will hold her again in heaven one day.
