Angela R. "Angie" Carver, 43, of South Sioux City, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at a local hospital. Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Sunrise Retirement Community Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Serice of Sioux City.
Angie was born on February 27, 1973 in Pender, Nebraska, to James and Mary (Carver) Nicks. She grew up in South Sioux City and Hinton, graduating from Hinton High School in 1992.
Angie loved doing crafts, especially coloring and painting. She also had a variety of collections, including Angels, M&M memorabilia, and Ty Beanie Babies. Angie was always ready to go shopping or to rummage sales. Angie loved spending time with her family and the many dogs she had throughout her life.
Survivors indlue her mother, Mary Nicks of South Sioux City; sisters, Becky (Mike) Buchanan of Sioux City; and her sisters by heart, Cherie Vanlaningham, Christina Parker-Wakefield, Makenna Rich, Megan Hageman, Christina Wakefield, and Kim Merriman.
Angie was preceded in death by her father, James; sister, Carla Kay; brother in law, Mark Buchanan; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
