Obituary
Amanda M. Ryan, 44, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her residence. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Amanda was born on January 27, 1973 in Sioux City, the daughter of Jerry and Martha (Bertrand) Ryan. She attended high school in Elk Point, South Dakota. Amanda then went to Stewarts School of Beauty to become a cosmetologist.
Survivors include her sons, Jonathan Ryan and Anthony Dowd; brothers, Jeff (Connie) Ryan, Jamie (Shandi) Ryan, all of Sioux City, and Daniel (Amanda Lynn) Scott of Newton, IA; step sisters, Tammy (Dennis) Feauto and Angela Thrash; and her significant other, Dave Pyka, all of Sioux City.
Amanda was preceded in death by her parents; and infant son, Christopher.
