William ‘Bill’ and Anita Koontz left this world together on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.  Funeral Services will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City; 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Bill and Anita were united in marriage December 14, 1968 and have been together ever since. They were married for 53 years. For over 50 years, Bill worked in the Agricultural Industry. Anita worked in the Nursing and Healthcare industry for over 30 years.

Bill and Anita loved spending time with their family and extended family. They enjoyed fishing , camping, going out, gambling, traveling and just being together.

Survivors include their three children, William ‘Billy’ (Kris) Koontz of Petersburg, Virginia, Angie (Brad) Klemmensen of South Sioux City, Nebraska and Missy (Monty) Girard of Sioux City, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Andrew (Kaylee), Tyler, Trevor, Olivia, Bryan (Kayla), John William, Kayleigh (Britt), Krimson (Mark), and Bryton; three great grandchildren; and Anita’s six siblings.

They were preceded in death by their parents and Anita’s brother, Tom.
